When I Arrived in Nara
When I arrived in Nara
I found Parnassus
Under calligraphic characters;
This was where the sun comes to set
As the mystical pink glow
Pervaded every perch.
Drifting deeply down ancient astral avenues,
Wild woods with long lost lanes
Finding freedom, simply sitting silently.
How could I leave
Like Fionn, Adam, or Eve,
A place I could hardly conceive?
