It is a Past

I have already understood
that the future is today.
I have already understood
that the future is a past
which is still not born.
I have already understood
that the future is a place
without poetry,
because poems
are only ghosts
(real or imaginary ghosts)
which do not understand
that their time
has already passed.
I begin to understand
who I am.

All Colours

I like the words.
I am a man of letters.
I like the words
because you can write them
in all colours
and their meaning will not change.
I like the words
because all the words
have their shadows,
a past and a poetry
with which they reach
the glory of metaphors
(like men and women).
I like the words
because with them
I imagine the world
and I remember my dreams.
